Dismantling Poverty with Classrooms
In Uganda, quality basic primary education is often gate-kept behind expensive private fee structures. For orphaned children or child-headed households in rural Kakiri, education is the first thing that gets sacrificed to survive. This leads to early-childhood labor loops that lock families in poverty.
Our Primary Education Program operates Lidos Junior Schools as a sanctuary. We provide state-standard education, employing qualified, caring teachers and providing modern study materials. Through direct international child sponsorships, we cover all operational expenses so students study completely free.
Four Dimensions of Support
Tuition Sponsorship
Covers 100% of the school fee structures, allowing orphaned children to study without threat of suspension.
Daily Nutrition Support
Every enrolled child receives hot breakfast porridge and a robust high-protein school lunch daily.
Supplies & Textbooks
Provides pens, pencils, exercises, and official primary curriculum textbooks to every pupil.
Standard School Uniforms
Provides tailored uniforms, school badges, and shoes, instilling pride, neatness, and community identity.
